Courtney graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of South Australia in 2022 and has since worked extensively in private practice, helping people of all ages return to the activities they love. She has a particular passion for combining hands-on physiotherapy with targeted exercise rehabilitation to achieve lasting results, rather than simply treating symptoms.
Courtney has a special interest in the assessment and management of spinal conditions, including neck, thoracic and lower back pain, as well as hip and pelvic disorders, sporting injuries, osteoarthritis, and both pre- and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation. She is highly experienced in Clinical Pilates and exercise-based rehabilitation, designing individualised programs that restore movement, build strength and confidence, and reduce the risk of future injury.
With over six years’ experience teaching reformer, mat and barre Pilates, Courtney has developed a strong understanding of movement quality and exercise prescription. Her rehabilitation approach integrates Clinical Pilates principles, strength and conditioning, manual therapy, and the latest evidence-based practice to help clients recover efficiently and perform at their best.
Having trained in classical ballet for 15 years, Courtney has a genuine understanding of the physical demands placed on dancers. She has completed additional Australian Physiotherapy Association training in the physiotherapy management of adolescent dancers and pre-pointe assessments, and enjoys working with dancers, gymnasts and other young athletes to optimise performance, manage injuries and support safe participation in sport.
Courtney also has a strong interest in sports physiotherapy and currently works with the Norwood Football Club SANFL Women’s program, providing game day coverage, injury management and rehabilitation for elite footballers. She enjoys working with athletes across a wide range of sports, helping them safely return to competition and perform at their highest level.
Courtney believes every rehabilitation journey should be tailored to the individual. She combines education, exercise therapy and manual therapy to empower her clients with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their recovery. Whether your goal is returning to elite sport, recovering after surgery, overcoming persistent pain or simply moving more comfortably, Courtney is passionate about helping you achieve your goals and improve your quality of life.
