Expert and experienced guidance for your training goals

The provision of high performance for elite level sport is complex. Multiple practitioners and multiple skills are required to achieve the inputs required to achieve high performance. And our Sports and Exercise Physicians all have extensive experience and ongoing work in high performance teams.

Dr Geoffrey Verrall is the medical director of the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI), a team doctor for the Australian Men's Cricket team and the South Australian Men's and Women's Cricket teams. He is also highly experienced over the last 20 years of practice working closely with multiple sports, from athletics to AFL and a strong interest in not only conducting research to advance our understand but also applying the latest research to getting you better.

The high performance lessons of teamwork, coordinating care of the injured and maintaining health and performance can be carried to regular clients. These services include coordinating an injury back to full performance, understanding how health and medical conditions impact upon performance and life and how these deleterious effects can be minimized, maximizing beneficial nutrition and training methods. These services are applicable to injured and sick athletes wanting to get back, non-injured athletes wanting to maximize performance, workers compensation and third party injuries, medical checkups for those who have neglected their health and/or do not have a regular doctor.

If you fit into one of these categories you would be suited to a Sports and Exercise assessment at the Sports and Arthritis Clinic (SPARC).
